- Time spent with family and friends; reading - favourite authors are Chris Kuzneski, Dean Koontz, Clive Cussler and Stephen King. I also love horse racing and try to attend a few race events a year.

- Willie Carson, Gordon Ramsey and Stephen King.
- What gives you a LIFT?
- My family. My son and his fiance have just become parents and spending time with them and my grandson gives me a huge lift.
- Favourite book?
- 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. It was the first book I read for pleasure as a teenager without having to write an essay about it.
